How To Remove The Powered By Tagline Without Using Edit Code

Follow these simple steps to remove “Powered By Shopify” without using the Edit Code option.

• Same as above, log in first
• Now open Online Store in your dashboard and select themes
• Choose the theme you want to edit
• And now click on Actions
• Now, you must click on “Edit Languages” 
• Now, under the general section you’ll see an option “Filter” with a textbox next to it, type “Powered” there.
• Once you type “powered” and click you’ll see a Powered By Shopify box with the same written in it. 
• Just type in a single space and the tagline will be removed. 
• Do the same for the Powered by Shopify HTML box, and the tagline will be removed from the Password page as well. 
• Lastly, hit the Save button

Removing “Powered By Shopify” By Using The Mobile App

You can also remove the “Powered by Shopify” tagline with the android or iOS mobile app:

• Open the app and head over to your dashboard
• Open the Sales channel and then select “Online Store”
• Now open Themes
• Select the theme you want to edit and select “Actions”
• Now choose “Edit Languages
• Type powered in the “Filter” box
• Now just use the spacebar once and the tagline will be removed 
• Save the changes

• Log into your store

• Once you type “powered” and click you’ll see another textbox with “Powered By Shopify” written in it. 
• Now you can change the “Powered by Shopify” to something that relates to your brand. For example, “Powered by XYZ” or “Brought to you by XZY”.
• Do the same with the “Powered By Shopify HTML”, this will change the tagline on the Password page as well. 
• Now click on “Save” and your changes will be successfully saved.
